It is a lively, energetic, fun loving & customer-obsessed Brand with presence across 65+ mono brand stores, 7 online platforms & 80+ multi-brand doors. The Brand is looking for an awesome Merchandise Manager to write the next phase of promising growth story.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise & manage the stock allocation & replenishment for all stores across all channels (offline & online)
- Identify the bestsellers and slow movers and taking appropriate actions like consolidation & re-distribution so as to meet business objectives
- Creating an intelligent & region-level buy plan at SKU level after analyzing all stock related KPIs
- Design and manage assortment and range plan for new merchandise at each store & region level
- Manage & track detailed OTB plan, esp. spend vs approved OTB budget
- Monitor stock health KPIs like stock cover, size availability, ageing at SKU level and create alert mechanisms
- Monitor stock fill rates, both at TO & PO level
- Design & implement promo & markdown strategy post analyzing the sell-through, stock covers, ageing, product classification and business needs for both offline & online channels
- Set benchmark pricing for each SKU once new season merchandise is launched
- Visit stores on regular basis to make sure the best store stock health
- Co-ordinate with internal teams like Marketing, Operations, Warehouse, VM to ensure smooth conduct of business
- Liaise with shipping to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries of merchandise from the principal
- Liaise with finance to ensure timely raising of POs & tracking of rebates & credit notes from the principal
- Conduct market surveys to identify latest trends and completion mapping
- Negotiate with the Brand Principal about costs, special merchandise & liaise to share routine reports, co-ordinate for shipping & credit note issuances
- Identify merchandising pain points, if any, & act as champion to pro-actively find solutions
- Act as face of merchandising function & be able to present to external & internal stakeholders
- Act as leader for team of 6-7 merchandisers - coach, mentor & manage career growth
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree holder any field.
- Over than 7 years working experience as Merchandising role
- Advanced/Intermediate Excel Skills: ability to handle large set of complex data and model it as per requirement
- Well versed with Excel pivots, power pivots and advanced functions
- Added advantage if have prior experience with data-warehouse, SAP, business planning tools
- High comfort level with MS Office, esp. Power Point and Word
- Merchandising & Planning skills, Project Management
- Problem solver through data analysis, root cause analysis
- Professional & excellent team player - cheerful, energetic & positive personality
- Fluent with English, good communication skills
- Extremely high degree of attention to details
