The Pastry/Bakery Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide range of pastries, desserts, bread, and other baked goods. Responsibilities: Develop and execute recipes for pastries, desserts, bread, and other baked goods. Prepare and bake items according to established recipes and standards. Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients and supplies as needed. Train and supervise pastry/bakery staff members, providing guidance and support as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to develop new menu items and concepts. Requirements: Proven experience as a Pastry/Bakery Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen. Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. Creative flair and passion for creating innovative and visually appealing pastries and desserts. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
