**Job Summary**
- This position is responsible for identifying equipment and aftermarket sales opportunities within defined customer segments. Where current and new business opportunities exist, the position should take responsibility for the sales development.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs.
- Address customer inquiries promptly.
- Creates business development plans and targets for the product range in collaboration with his/her superior. This will include the introduction of new products and trial to purchase.
- Collaborate with service engineer to ensure effective resolution of customer issues.
- Develops sales skills and knowledge of the products, services, and customers by working closely with Clients/Manufacturers to promote products, close orders and deliver solutions.
- Provides sales support (may include providing leads, assisting on sales calls, making presentations, providing training, providing market analysis, etc.) to the Internal team. Performs other related duties as assigned by his/her superior.**Education, Experience & Competencies**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering: A degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Min 3-year experience in technical sales, preferably within the fluid transfer equipment in at least 3 of the following industries: FnB, water treatment, general industry, mining & geothermal, and oil & gas.
- Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation, and technical proposal.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information, deliver product presentations, and negotiate with customers.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, improving customer retention, and driving revenue growth.
- Resilient and proactive sales, with a strong sense of self-motivation and a passion to win.
- Willingness to do a frequent travelling to customer site. Holding your own car and driving license is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in English.
