Senior Supervisor, Data Center Critical Facilities
**Job Summary**
Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors. Acts as a guide to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
**Responsibilities**
Management
- Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors
- Ensures the team is caring out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing, as expected
- Manages personnel details including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development.
- Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance
Project / Infrastructure Site Management
- Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the datacenters. Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly plan
- Provides input and guidance towards budget
- Overall site capacity supervision
Vendor Management
- Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards
Testing
- Assists with start-up tests, documenting and reporting all problems
Incident Management
- Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent work experience in a Data Center environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field or equivalent work experience required
