- Global Banking is one of the five main businesses within HSBC's Global Banking and Markets division. It operates in over 55 countries and territories and services 4,000 clients around the world. Global Banking is responsible for the overall management of relationships with major corporate and institutional clients across a broad range of geographies. This involves working closely with a variety of product specialists to deliver a comprehensive range of services such as treasury and capital markets, transaction banking, strategic advisory and investment management and the origination and ongoing management of the credit and lending product.

- Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is one of the Global Banking's growth business focus, covering a niche client segment consisting of Banks, NBFIs, Affiliates and Public Sector.
- In line with HSBC Group business strategy, we are currently seeking few experienced professionals to join this team as **Vice President Relationship Manager Financial Institutions Group (FIG)** to support this business growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Strategize and manage portfolio of FIG clients in line with HSBC dynamics framework and Group's strategic/operating plans
- Manage and monitor affiliate portfolio to ensure the portfolio is aligned with the bank's policy and risk appetite
- Pursue business opportunities from existing and prospective clients, maximizing cross-sell value and structured solutions to support client needs within Group's guidelines and risk parameters
- Proactively conduct and coordinate customer meetings to enhance relationship deepening and ensuring effective pitching process with relevant product groups and GRBs.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation/record keeping on client activities and account maintenance in HSBC respective systems for performance monitoring and effective portfolio decision making. This includes but not limited to MIS, submission high quality KYC and Credit reviews, etc.
- Pursue enhancement of client banking experience with HSBC. Eliminate/minimize transactions delays and address bottleneck issues at any processes.
- Anticipate and quickly update any negative events to stakeholders to prevent HSBC from any adverse situations.
Qualifications
**Requirements**:
- Hold a minimum bachelor degree from reputable university
- Has minimum 5-8 years relevant experience in Banking/Financial Institutions
- Possess good knowledge of institutional/corporate banking, investments and/or trade products and ability to interpret meaningful information from financial accounts
- Possess good knowledge on economic indicators and industry sectors awareness
- Demonstrate utmost high degree of integrity
- Client centric and demonstrate passion to win
- A team player with good communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders globally including product specialists and GRBs
- Ability to maintain good output quality under pressure condition and tight deadline
