**To be hired as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract**
**Location**:Jakarta, Indonesia
**Salary**:433,000,000 + Indonesian Rupiah depending on experience
**What you'll be doing**:
- Developing and maintaining a network spanning the breadth of the Indonesian defence market; local industry, foreign competitors, armed forces and procurement related agencies, political stakeholders, R&D community, defence media and academia
- Supporting lines of business in opportunity identification, campaign development and capture
- Regular reporting on activity and in-country developments for our internal stakeholders
- Independently identifying good profitable business in not only existing or traditional areas but in new sectors with opportunities for future growth
- Supporting the development of a long term Indonesian market strategy - identify strategic growth options
**Your skills and experiences**:
- Broad knowledge and experience of the Indonesian defence, government market including its industrial, military and political components
- A thorough understanding of the official and unofficial processes by which military requirements are generated
- Must be a skilled networker with the ability not just to maintain these relationships but to build and expand new ones with industry peers, government customers and the strategic community
- Understanding and awareness of compliance & governance when pursuing business
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including those at the highest levels
- Ability to recognise which opportunities represent good business
- Must be able to communicate and write effectively in English on a near-native basis
